Due to illness to the referee, last weeks home game against Purleigh was called off shortly before kick-off. Priory will next be in action this coming Sunday as make the trip to Witham to face a good Highfield Victoria team. Training as usual tonight on the astro turf in South Woodham. Details of the squad to face Highfield Victoria will appear here before the weekend. Elsewhere in the league Highfield Victoria beat Danbury 4-2 to move a point behind Priory and into fourth. There were also wins for Writtle and William De Ferrers. Heybridge Social remain top of the pile with Priory Sports two points behind.

Monday 17th September 2007.
Priory Sports registered their second victory of the season with a well-deserved 3-1 win at Maldon Saints. Tommy Robinson opened the scoring from the penalty spot before midfield motorman Nigel Hewes continued his fine goal scoring start to the season with a brace. Elsewhere, Heybridge Social retained to spot following victory over RE Social. Priory will next be in action this coming Sunday at home to Purleigh.

Monday 10th September 2007.
Following last weeks 3-3 draw at home to Danbury, Priory recorded their first victory of the season following an impressive 3-2 victory away to the much-fancied Writtle. Dirty Paul Harris scored a brace with the other goalscorer being midfield motorman Nigel Hewes.
